The Haven's Pet 5,000 from Moore County's Animal Control
This Tuesday, The Haven will be picking up pet number 5,000 from Moore County's Animal Control. These animals are transported to the Haven Friends For Life, No-Kill Adoption Services. Congratulations to all our Donors, Volunteers, and Adoptors for making this life saving work possible!
Volunteers
We have been short volunteers for Fayetteville Petsmart the past few weekends. If you have signed up for the adoption center on your application form, we are counting on you. The Petsmart adoption centers are of great benefit to Haven and to the animals whose hopes for a home go with them every weekend. Our hard working lead volunteers need the help of every one of you who have said this is where you would like to work. If you are interested in helping next weekend or any weekend at all, you can reply to this email or contact John jtbtmt@aol.com or Gail at dialdy1980@embarqmail.com
The Gumdrop Fund
Gumdrop started life "Dropped" in the middle of the street as her stray mom ran off. Luckily someone found her and brought her to The Haven where she went to a foster family. She is now happily adopted.
Spring brings a lot of orphaned puppies and kittens to The Haven. The Gumdrop Fund was established in honor of one special orphan to help with the cost of raising orphaned puppies and kittens. Costs range from $500-$1,000 between formula, medical care, vaccinations and spay/neuters. Help these orphans get a good start at life by donating to the Gumdrop Fund. You may make a donation online to The Gumdrop Fund, or mail your check to "The Haven c/o The Gumdrop Fund," 400 Fulford McMillan Rd, Raeford, North Carolina 28376.
