Come meet Emmy Lou!

Emmy has been at the shelter for almost 3 years, her nick name is speed racer as she flys around the shelter in her spiffy wheels. She was shot and left to starve in the woods across the road from the shelter and akind Samaritan alerted us to her plight. She is our shining example of resiliency and courage and always makes us smile. She is our living proof that what some say is impossible is just a challenge to be overcome for others. This last year she participated in experimental trials on a drug to reverse paralysis conducted at the vet school and now she is fund raising for our other special need animals.
